Yes. After-hours delivery is standard for planned commercial pump installs, replacements and servicing where trading cannot be disrupted. Overnight and weekend work is scheduled with your facilities manager. After-hours rates are confirmed in writing before dispatch. Emergencies are attended any hour as priority callouts.

Service intervals depend on pump type and duty cycle. Pressure booster sets and sewage lift stations typically need inspection every six to twelve months. Stormwater and sump pumps should be tested before the wet season each year. High-duty industrial or hospitality pumps often need quarterly servicing. We can put a service schedule and records in place for compliance and insurance.

Responsibility in strata is split between common property (owners corporation) and lot property (individual owners). Shared booster sets, basement sump pumps and sewage lift stations serving the whole building are typically common property. Pumps serving a single lot may belong to the lot owner. Our condition reports clearly identify scope, helping committees determine liability and budget.

Yes. Basement bathrooms, below-floor kitchens and any commercial fit-out below the gravity sewer line need a sewage pump or lift station to move effluent up. We design and install macerator pumps for smaller duties, full sewage lift stations with wet well sizing, twin-pump redundancy and high-level alarms for larger applications. All work complies with AS/NZS 3500.2.

Warning signs include rapid cycling on and off, running constantly without reaching pressure, unusual noise or vibration, tripping the electrical supply, water hammer, or a high-level alarm on a sewage or stormwater pump. Any of these warrants a diagnostic visit before complete failure. A planned visit is almost always cheaper than an emergency callout.

Commercial pump installation in NSW must comply with AS/NZS 3500.1 (Water Services), 3500.2 (Sanitary Plumbing and Drainage) and 3500.3 (Stormwater), depending on the application. Electrical work on pump controllers must be carried out by a licensed electrician, plumbing work by a licensed plumber. EKORP holds NSW licence 322223C and is MPA NSW accredited.
